Based in Frome, Somerset, our team of skilled craftsmen specialises in traditional and heritage roofing, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Certified Excellence with the NFRC Competent Roofer Scheme
As proud members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) Competent Roofer Scheme, we are authorised to self-certify our work, ensuring it complies with current building regulations. This accreditation not only reflects our commitment to excellence but also offers our clients peace of mind that their roofing projects are in capable hands.
Our involvement in the scheme also underscores our dedication to sustainability. We aim to bridge the gap between a building’s predicted energy performance at the design stage and its actual performance post-completion. To achieve this, we:
- Select energy-efficient, sustainably sourced roofing materials.
- Ensure proper installation to maximise energy-saving potential.
- Incorporate adequate insulation to prevent heat loss.
- Implement effective ventilation systems to reduce heat build-up.
- Seal and weather-strip roofs to prevent air leaks.
- Offer energy-efficient window and skylight options.
- Provide guidance on the feasibility of installing solar slates.
By adhering to these practices, we help our clients achieve more energy-efficient homes, reducing overall energy consumption and environmental impact.
