If you’re between 16 and 19 years old, not afraid of heights, like working outdoors, are not work-shy, don’t mind early mornings and are willing to work as part of an experienced and lively team, we want to hear from you.

Apprentice scheme
Here at West Country Tiling, we have been running our apprentice scheme for well over 30 years. We take great pride in giving young people a chance to learn a trade whilst earning on the job and attending college.
This two-year course gives them an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Roof Occupations from the South Devon College.
What we expect from you
Investing in an apprentice takes time and money, so we expect commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm from you.
This job is hands-on, keeps you very fit, and will give you the chance to create something from your own hard work.
Before starting the college course, you will need to prove yourself by working with us for at least a year.
What you will get from us
We pay a living wage to our apprentices; this is above the national average apprenticeship wage.
We will guide you through every aspect of the job, once you show you are committed we will give you more responsibility and opportunities to learn.
You will get variety at work, from the historical churches and Grade II listed properties to plain tiled house roofs, each of these projects requires different skills, attention to detail and sympathy for the history of the building.
