7-13th February 2022 is National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) and to celebrate, we are looking for our next apprentice.

NAW promotes the fantastic opportunities offered to apprentices by employers across the country and highlights the positive impact an apprenticeship can make upon a young person’s career and training prospects.

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) has announced that there is a chronic skills shortage in the roofing industry, to help tackle this they have launched the NFRC Roofing Careers Service. This free online resource is aimed at helping young people into employment within the roofing and cladding industry.

Could you be our next apprentice?

We are offering young people between 16 and 19 the chance to join our roofing business and learn a trade whilst gaining a two-year NVQ Level 2 Qualification in Roofing.

We have been running our apprenticeship scheme for over 30 years and take great pride in offering our apprentices a living wage, the chance to be the part of a close-knit team, and on-the-job training.

If you are looking for a career for life, enjoy working outside, don’t mind heights, hard work, and early mornings, then please get in touch.

Become our next apprentice

We’re looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed individual who wants to learn while they earn. The work is varied, will require honing many different roofing skills and gives the opportunity for gaining transferrable skills, personal development and career progression.

If you’re a young person aged between 16 and 19, living in the Somerset area and are interested in joining our apprenticeship scheme, please send your name, phone number, age, location and any relevant experience to info@westcountrytiling.com and we will call you back.

If you have a roofing project that needs to be carried out by our Master Craftsmen, please get in touch on 01373462224 or by emailing us at info@westcountrytiling.com
