We have successfully finished the work at Barrow Gurney this week. This was a highly complex roof of clay plain tiles with ornamental banding.
In addition to the roofing works and extensive leadwork, we also installed insulation, 2 No. new dormer windows and repaired masonry to 5 No. stacks.
The final section of work involved the creation of a new cast iron downpipe to deal with the volume of water discharging from the central roof slopes.
Our client said: “I must say, your men have been really excellent throughout the last 6 months – good–humoured and polite, hard-working, and clearly good craftsmen. Many thanks indeed – if they had not been so easy to have around, I think we would have found the last 6 months much tougher than we have!”
Excellent work Chris!
